Winter Sowing: first time ever!

Ok, ok, I think I am ready to try winter sowing for the first time ever. This is the first I have ever heard of it too. I do say that I love the idea and am looking forward to trying it out. I just got a pack of 24 different kinds of seeds in the mail today from a trader and most, if not all of them can be winter sown. Now all I have to do is gather me up some containers.

Here is a list of seeds I am going to try to winter sow, take a look and let me know if you see any that I should not WS.

Blanket Flower

Pincushion Flower

Scabiosa 'Butterfly Blue'

Baptisia Australis

Poppy

Columbine

Tall Garden Phlox

Hollyhock

Datura

Love Lies Bleeding

Perennial Sweet Peas

Spider Flower

Marigolds

Tomato

Sweet Pepper

Spinach

Leaf Lettuce

What do you think? If any one has any special instructions for any of my seeds, please let me know.

Thanks,

Matthew
