off topic- forum registration help

I have looked through all the help/instructions pages on the forums and can't find anything that addresses this problem. I apologize for the off topic question, but there doesn't seem to be an appropriate forum.

While I was in the UK recently my sister signed up for garden web at my suggestion. She forgot her user name and has requested it be sent to her several times with no response. She can't re-register because she has already registered and doesn't have a second e-mail address!. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I bragged about all of you here! Thanks.

Try "member pages" at the bottom of this page. Select "edit personal information" and choose a new passwork. I think that would work.

I wasn't very clear. From "Member Pages" you will have to sign in, and there is a link for "forgot your password?". Or did she try that? If she gets to there she can pick an easy to remember password.

Is it her user name or her password that she forgot?

If she forgot her user name, you can go to "Member Pages" and "Search for Members".

I just tried and you can search for members in the UK (there are a couple of regions listed) and get a series of user names. If she recognizes her user name, then she should be able to request the password to be emailed to her, using that name.

Try "contact us." I got a reply in a few minutes and got things straightened out promptly (it was my fault for turning off the cookies in Firefox 2.0).
