Are those cedar shakes?

The sides of the shower look like shingles. Are they shakes, or is it panel with the appearance of them?

    The write-up indicates that they are copper shingles. Great design

      If you look at the very top on the left you can see a shiny piece. I believe it to be a metal of sorts, maybe Copper but that is pretty expensive but maybe.

      I think it's clay or terra cotta, Mexican Saltillo or even local.

      In Maryland they use sawdust and compost it in the restrooms in some parks. Very efficient and absolutely no smell. Best public restrooms I've ever been to.

      Composting human waste with sawdust is legal in most states as long as you don't use it to fertilize food plants. Once it is fully composted it is the same as any other compost.
