We had some late cold snaps here after putting in onion sets, so I covered them loosely with dry straw, just enough to cover 6-8" from the ground. It saved them from frost and sustained temps in the mid 20's F, but many of the stalks are bent. Should I wait & see if they recover or trim them at the bend, about 2-4" up, and let them start new stalks?
