Don't see why they wouldn't, but those galvanied containers also make great molds for hypertufa troughs. Then you could make your container whatever depth you want. You could make several!

Thanks so much for the info, Rick. In fact, my neighbor is going to teach me how to make hypertufa. Your idea of using the gal. steel container for a mold is a good one. I am glad that my semps & sedums should work in this container.
