I was just about to post a similar question: my problem is that they are not sprouting because (I think) they are now pretty well shaded by towering red Cannas, so I am not so sure where they are. Now that I see your post there is something 'allium-like' sprouting where I had another set and I think I must have missed one head there. I'll follow this post for a reply.

i got hold of the local coop extension agent in my country. she said i could separate out the sprouted cloves and replant or simply eat them. i dug up about half of them and put out an email offering them to others because i have so many.
actually, my neighbor went to the local garlic festival and bought me some of the hugest shallots and some different garlic species. so i really needed to make some extra room to plant these new babies.

the season has been so cold, wet, warm that the sprouted garlic is up 6-8" already! if i planted everything i have now, it would add up to a couple hundred head. i love the stuff, but even that is too much for me.
