I suggest finding something to use as a stake that you can insert into the soil and gently tie to the stem. Even if the whole pot is tipping over, holding the stem upright will help keep the pot balanced. It is recommended that you turn the pot by 90 degrees each day to keep the stem from leaning too far in one direction, but sometimes this isn't enough, particularly when it is already leaning too far.

What I do quite frequently is use two oval stones about a little larger than a large egg. I jam them on two sides of the surface of the pot pushing against the bulb from two sides and it works. I have the problem of bulbs falling over on many of my new bulbs with no roots. If your problem is from using a plastic pot that isn't heavy enough, the stones will give weight to the pot as well as hold the plant upright.

I sent hubby down to the beach to gather perfectly shaped stones and he came back with a bucket full! The first time they were way too large an the second time he got it right!

Of course if you've got those little wire supports they certainly look better...

I had staked it with bamboo, have replaced that twice as it keeps going up, and I did rotate it every day - it is straight, just top heavy.
Will try putting the whole thing in a bigger wider pot with ballast stonesâ¦.
