ID on a very mislabeled dark red

Those who know me well know that I do not like red amaryllis; however, I find this mislabeled large dark red to be quite appealing. It was purchased as Pink Surprise from a distributor with a history of a high percentage of mislabels.

Do you think it could be Royal Velvet? It is much larger than my Benefica. It has set two very large healthy looking seedpods with Dancing Queen and Papilio as the pollen donor. Each scape had four huge blooms which lasted for nearly 3 weeks. It has been rather cool out and this bulb is in the greenhouse with cool nights and cool days, which demonstrates that cooler temperatures prolong bloom life.
