Tomato Soup!

I am SO glad I saved some seeds back from Trudi's generous Tomato offer.

I got them all sowed, all fo them sprouted, and I took most the tops off in my excitement and the warm weather a couple of weeks ago.

Then we got one of those dagnab frosts. I managed to get tops on most of them, but lost a couple seedlings. No worry, I was wondering what to do with 20 varieties of tomatoes, 3-4 seedlings each.

But when it rains.. it pours. Quite literally. I knew it was going to rain. But I didn't think too much of it. It POURED last night. And I was out, so I couldn't cover them. And now most of my tomato seedlings are flattened or swimming. I've put them in the sun to dry things out, and to perk them up. But Im pretty sure they're goners.

Is it too late to start more? In Zone 5? Im going to try anyway. But has anyone had luck with toms this late in the game?
