It's a beaut! Congratulations!

Beautiful tomatoes! How on earth did you get WS'n tomatoes so early? I sowed mine in early May, which is a little late, and they are only about 1 foot tall and not even close to blooming yet!

It's a matina, early bearing at 58 DTM. I honestly don't remember when I WSowed them, but this was after planting out in May.

Matinas are wonderful little tomatoes. They stay small, just a few ounces, but have wonderful flavor. They start bearing fruit early and continue throughout the season. The color is always pretty red, never has green shoulders. I used to grow early girl but never liked them much, so I do matina for an early season one now.

I love Matina! Congrats!

I'll take some pics this afternoon. My grape tomato plants are 5' 5" tall and loaded with green tomatoes. The earliest ones are beginning to ripen. I'm also growing Stupice which is supposed to be like your Matina, short DTM, small & very flavorful fruit. The seeds came from Diane's Flower Seeds; she recommended the Stupice when I asked for one that's short DTM. The forecast calls for upper 90's right through the week so they'll ripen fast now. I'm just beginning to see flowers on the Stupice.

I harvested two Snow White tomatoes today- my favorites! They never made it to the house. I popped them in my mouth immediately. I have another matina starting to ripen, too.

All my tomatoes were wintersown.
