Planted the boo

Last August I planted the golden Boo that I had

in a pot for 2 years.

It wasn't happy, needed water constantly, so I talked hubby into helping me plant it.

I had to sit on the pot and he pulled with all his mite to get the Boo out, boy it was all roots.

No soil was left in the container at all.

Anyway, so far it is still alive.

We had a drought, so I wrapped a soaker hose around

the base of it to keep it happy.

THere is a big "clump" of cement to the front of it where my neighbor is, so I am hoping it will grow everywhere else. I mulched a little in the direction I would like it

to start spreading in the spring if it lives.

I have very sandy loam, so mabey it will be OK.

Here are some pics, I have cut the culms down big time, but the new growth I will just not cut it.

I hate to look at my neighbors ugly CBox all the time, although it isn't real close to my house, I can see it every time I go out on my back porch. UGLY.

Hopefully, the boo will cover that view, I hope.

This Boo was a nice size when I bought it.

It got real full in that pot.

Hope it lives.
