Flyspeck scale
Hi all,
I have a small collection of Broms maybe about 10. I noticed that 3 of my Neos have Fly speck scale. 2 are not that bad but the other is almost completely covered.
I scraped the scale off the plants. Hopefully this is a start to removing it. I have a few questions regarding the scale though since this is the first time that I have suffered with it.
How contagious, or how does this scale spread?
What other types of plants are susceptable to this type of scale?
Does this scale have a predator that will eliminate it?
What chemicals or products are used to remove this?
Will this scale kill my plants?
Should I just dispose of the infected plants?
TIA for any responses.
