What contemporary paint will go with these pictures?

Hi I have a very noticeable back splash and would love to paint the kitchen and dining room a contemporary color that can let the back splash stand out . I'd appreciate any advise. Thanks!

I'm going to disagree! I think apple green would fight with the coppery colour and be too trendy as well. I also think the white cabinets are perfect! I'm going to suggest Pittsburgh Paints GRAY STONE 517-4 which is silvery with a hint of warmth. It's dark enough to create contrast with the white cabinets, and it's going to tone with the grout in the tiles. You want enough depth of colour on the walls that they look "decorated" but you don't want to take the attention away from the tile. Painting your walls this colour will make them a beautiful backdrop for any artwork that you want to display here. Absolutely beautiful kitchen and a very bold choice that works well.

What gorgeous copper tones in the backsplash! I think you need to marry the tones of stainless, copper, and white. A apple green paint would be pretty. Artwork and a printed shade or curtain on the window would be good too, again marrying all the colors.

The picture I found is the same colors as your kitchen, with apple green walls. I'll try to attach it here, but if it doesn't show you can go to my saved houzz pics.

I like that copper backslash as well but the color if the walls need changed to darker and the cabinets need a different shade. White is too stark here

You didn't ask this, but when I look at the picture the discrepancy between the height of the cabinets and the lower height of the window jumps out. It would be nice if you could have an enhanced trim treatment around the windows and a pediment at the top to lift it up visually. For such a wide window, it just seems short in comparison to the cabinets.

Like Cynthia's suggestion as well for the paint.

This is crazy but I see a med gray ceiling with light gray walls, it would help make your appliances and tiles pop

Deborah I agree we were planning to put a frame around the window as well and maybe a roman curtain. Cynthia and Andrea I put some paints on the wall and am leaning toward a light gray/beige, you are all helping me and making this so much easier thanks a lot everyone I really appreciate it :)

A Roman Blind will be perfect. I suggest you hang it close to the ceiling, since they usually have a self valance it it's an easy fix.

When you say a contemporary color...I don't think that green with the materials you now have.If you like that green it can be added in other ways...in small amounts like artwork or a chair pillow. I'd suggest a dark brown finish on your cabinets and leave your walls that neutral color. Your back splash will really stand out if you bring your materials and finishes to the same level. A nice wooden bamboo window shade will bring all of it together.
