Saving Dorstenia

I have had this Dorstenia lancifolia for several years. It's had nice growth with flowers until recently. I know they go dormant during the winter but this one has had leaves and flowers most of the winter so I continued watering it from time to time. Suddenly, it began dropping leaves so I figured it was going dormant, finally and I backed off watering. Come to find it has lost all its roots. The main plant is firm and the base is reasonably clean. Is there any chance I might be able to re-establish roots on this plant? I'm going to allow it to dry out for a week or more and replant in perlite and some kind of grit like granite or turface and I know only time will tell. Just curious of your opinion/input.
Thanks, Howard
