Hi Garden Folk,
The Sun finally came out today in The South Bay and the Bear climbed out of his den to get some. We could ask a lot of questions about what Bear does in the woods, but I think this photo tour of another great Bay Area Garden Spot might suggest one possible answer.
San Jose's Overfelt Gardens is a large space with many lakes or ponds. It's like a small forest preserve in some ways, but in others, yet another fine example of the merging of culture in this area. How unique to find a garden spot named 'Overfelt Gardens' which pays tribute to the Asian community in San Jose?

Where's Lao Tzu? A contemporary of Kung Fu Tzu, I think I find Lao and the Tao of interest here, especially in this wild setting where manners are spiced into a more natural order.

Sorry! This isn't the Land of Oz. Are you hungry? I like to end one of my outings with a visit to a restaurant that suits the motif of the garden I visited.
Ni Hao Ma!
I went up to Milpitas to see if I could still find this excellent Dim Sum restaurant on Main Street, just North of the Great Mall of the South Bay. But alas ... it was no longer there. But I remembered that there was an excellent group of Asian food stores and shops, just over on the other side of the 880 and voila!
{{gwi:514750}}
On the third floor, center ... ABC Seafood ... Excellent Dim Sum. Behind me, one of the powerhouses of the Internet, Cisco Systems, stretches out in multiple buildings of an awsome campus, a garden unto itself. Next time I go to this restaurant, I gotta bring friends with so I can try more of this excellent variety of treats!
