A reference to dwarf just means that it is a slow grower that, while smaller at first, over time will attain some size but can be "size controlled" by careful pruning. Having made you aware of that, research some of the varieties in the link below. Not all will qualify though. Your biggest problem when selecting will not be the plant size but rather your zone 6 requirement. But, some are doable. Winter's Rose is a good selection for Zone 6ers, is low-growing and is very nice plant. Check out Twinkle Twinkle and Reverend Ida & see what their zone requirements are.

I tried to find zone requirements for these two lovely Camellias, but I did not find much info about them. Since they are not listed among other zone 6 hardy varieties, I assume they are not hardy for me :(
I think I will plant two 'Winter's Rose'.
