Looks like Echeveria imbricata. Full sun brings out nice color and keeps the head large. Otherwise it will grow small and etiolated. Having said this and noting you are in southern California, maybe protect from mid-day sun.

I believe this is one that was called something else before, but has now been included with Echeveria secunda. (Ech. spelling with 3 'e's)

Echeveria 'Imbricata' has larger, wider (usually overlapping) leaves with an indentation down the center of the leaves. The flowers are similar. =)

im not sure, but i have one also, lol.

Once again Rosemarie, you are on the money. Faked out by a wanna-be!

I have no clue but those plants are gorgeous

Woohoooo. Thanks Rosemarie. I have liked echeverias (3 eee's, I knew it looked wrong. HA) for some time but didn't really have many in my garden. So I thought I'd fix that this season. :-)

I really likes this one for it's nice symmetrical shape, blue-green color, and large bright colored flowers.

Creating a place for it in the garden but for now it lives in my garden window.

I bought others so I might just have to ask about those as well. ;-)

Thanks everyone!
