Pruning - penstemon, buddleia & crape myrtle

I am new here as well as being sort-of new to gardening. I have a few questions about blooms and pruning.

My penstemon bloomed beautifully about 1-2 months ago. Now all of the old bloom stems are there, plus flowers here/there. Am I supposed to prune back the old bloom stems? Or will they reflower or just leave them?

Same question with Buddliea - prune old flowers or leave on there until fall when we prune back the whole bush?

Anyone have experience with Crape Myrtle trees? I did not prune this in the fall after blooming. Now here we are in early summer and the old dead blooms from last year are still on there. Should I prune those branches off now? Or will they rebloom there? Or did I miss my opportunity?

Thank you! I'm looking forward to learning more on these great forums.
