I plan on driving in the area of Lowe's today and should the pickup breakdown, you can never have too many Crapemyrtles. Al

Lowe's in Santa Rosa has not received any new Crapemyrtles and the one they have is lack luster at best. Al

Bummer.

The Lowe's near me said they get Dynamite in but once a year: They can't get them any other time. The five gallons were an amazing 16 dollars. Technically I didn't have the money so I dipped into the grocery fund. For for the eyes counts doesn't it?

Good thing I like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

Which Lowes?

I love these trees, the only problem is the dam little sap drops in the summer, it messes up the cars.

Lowe's in Rancho Cucamonga.

Sap? Is that what I felt dropping on me when I sat under my old hot pink Crape?

I do have one question: How do I stake these babies? The trunk on one is no bigger than my little finger and the other is as thick as my thumb. They are tied to a nursery stake which I have not yet removed That stake is in turn tied to a second stake I drove into the ground.

The crepe myrtles in my neighborhood are spectacular now! Enjoy your new trees, Dis!
