I'm ordering some rolls of plastic for the garden to grow maters, and cukes, etc. The seed catalog I was looking in had some comments that intrigued me..

"If using red plastic, you may want to use a pre-emergent herbicide before laying it down"

"Green plastic heats the ground significantly faster than black plastics.."

I went with the black because its the only color I've seen in gardens for vine fruits and veggies. Just wondering if folks on here have experience with the red or green stuff.
