I, too, will be happy to hear the answers to this question since I'm still working with pencil and paper!

Happy to meet you! I guess it's true about misery loving company. I just wish I knew a programmer who could make killer software. I feel an overflowing of ideas.
Since you rely on paper and pencil (faint!), you might want to migrate the same way I did: to online floorplan drawings. I LOVE doing it that way, but you do have to spend some time in Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop (or other editing software) to make spectacular designs and you have to estimate furnishings. I've even found circular or semi-circular kitchen and other architectural designs that sent me to the moon. But spending time on those sites has really been inspirational (many have room pictures, etc.). This site, however, is OUTTA SITE!
Try these out for size:

Oh look! I found something new to try at http://www.roomle.com/. Shall we review it? And another one at http://www.ezblueprint.com/specials/floorplan/index1.html?gclid=CN_khZ-SiLICFeUWMgodEngAdA. Hey, I guess WE are NOT alone!

P.S. You have some lovely rooms on your page!

I just posted this after I gave it a workout and now I'm giving it to you. It's not 3-D, ariel, or pretty or well defined or anything, but it does the job.

Many thanks, mrstinylady! That's very kind of you.
