I'm loving the rain too. The warm temps we had last week and all of the wind had really dried things out -- the ground was starting to get that baked midsummer look. I don't know how much this rain has done for reservoirs but it should be very good for the plants.

It's been wonderful, if making it a little hard to stay alert in the afternoon! :) Just what the doctor ordered. And last I looked, the want rain almost every day this week, too.

I also love rain. I've been soaked two days in a row just walking around in it. This kind of weather makes the lichens and mosses really glow, which in turn makes me want to get out my camera, which unfortunately isn't highly rated for moisture.

I am loving this rain. Such a nice soaking rain. Surprisingly we got more than predicted...and this is the type of bust I can live with.

If you have plenty could you send some down here? We got a bit less than half an inch over the weekend - our BIG rain chance. Now it's just cold and drizzly. Bone chilling.

Karen I couldn't resist taking some pictures in the rain either. I believe the Pentax is supposed to be highly rated for abuse but I took my umbrella anyway -- which kept tipping forward onto the ground while I was focusing the camera.

Not including today, we received 3.4 inches from Saturday through Monday. I know we've received at least another .3 inches or so. This is a miracle!!!!

I hope everyone else is getting a nice dose too.
