A few days ago, I asked here about where to purchase a Quercus suber (Cork Oak). They are quite difficult to track down. I found a source for those living on the Central Coast. San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden has several for sale in 5 gallon pots. I picked mine up this morning. They also have a six-year old beauty growing in the Preview Garden.

The garden smelled heavenly. Mediterranean gardens are incredibly fragrant after a rain.
