I have removed the aloe as I was suggested to. I replaced the aloe with a brom and added a few other succulents.

Thank you for looking.

    Xaun,

Looking as fine as frog hair, I do declare. What a nice collection of colour!

You'll find in a couple of years that even this group of plantings might want to be thinned out, but then you can give cuttings to friends and associates, perhaps in return for something you don't have.

Very nice! It continues to flourish!

Have you considered adding any larger (taller) stones to create different levels?
I can envision mounded layers of succulents spilling down rock faces, et cetera...

I really like your Jade, too. I wonder how much size it'll put on this season?

Thank you for your comments, cactusmcharris and Josh.
Yes, the plants seem to be fine. I like to look at them a lot :-).
I'm looking forward to seeing the plants get crowded. I just gave each of them a few osmocote pellets so that they can have some nutrients as I planted them in pure sand only. Will that help them grow faster?
I will update monthly, so please come back to see it. TIA.

    Xuan,

Yes, or some diluted general fertilizer - whatever you have. These plants aren't choosy, but you don't want to feed them heavily with a high nitrogen (the 'N' in the NPK numbers on the fertilizer) -containing fertilizer.

Like so many things, some people never fertilize, some do so heavily, and some (me, too) do it now and then during the growing season.

The only problem I have with Osmocote is that sometimes I want to water my plants only, not fertilize them too, but that's just MHO. Others think that Osmocote is the Second Coming and use it always in their mix.

And yes, we would like to see status reports! TFS.

It looks great and such a nice array of color! Wonderful job you have done. I like Josh's idea of larger/taller rocks also and cascading plants...gives me some ideas for my rock garden:)

I'm so happy you like what I have done, especially I feel very confident that I "continue" to have Norma's approving nods :-)!
I also like Josh's idea. I might try it out next.
Many thanks for your nice comments.

Did you bury those stones? What was the cost? Very NICELY designed.

    Thanks,Abel

Abel, most of the stones are small so I didn't have to bury them. The two black ones are actually "flat" (they were broke off of bigger stones for mason works), so I just laid them on the sand. Hehehe, it looks as if they were buried, right?
All the rocks/stones were rescued from my other garden. It didn't cost me anything.
Randy, thanks for your compliment. :-)
