Sort of difficult to estimate how any clematis will do its first year in the ground. A lot depends on the variety you purchased, how large and established they were, and how the coming season treats them. If you have Polish Spirit, it can grow like a weed. Several years ago, I got a small pint sized plant from Walmart and potted it up in a gallon sized pot and in three months I had roots coming out of the bottom of the pot. Etoile Violette can similarly mature rapidly. Jackmanii is also supposed to be a rapid grower but I have never had one of that variety.

You should have pruned them all back in the early spring. It is still not too late to do so however and I would prune them all to within 6 inches or so of the soil level. Vino being a type II may or may not bloom this year. The others will probably do so even with the trimming back.
