Me too, it's still raining this morning and as much as I want to get out there and dig, I am content to open the windows and listen to that musical sound.

mary, has it been a year already? I remember you posting before you arrived in NC.
For once, Charlotte got less rain than Union. It's still raining steadily and we have gotten a bit over 2" since Tues. The creek behind us, dry since August, is running about 1/3 it's normal flow and once the rain stops I'm sure the flow will lessen further.

dotie-- we are moving a little further south within Charlotte--to what we think will be a better neighborhood and a shorter commute to work for both of us. Our area is pretty high crime, we hope it will be better now. We're still renting now, but maybe will buy a place in the next year. I have been renting now for several years, but I have never let that stop me from gardening. :) mary
