I noticed at least 2 gardeners have nine bark in their fair plots. Now, whether it's summer wine or diablo, i don't know right now, but once the fair starts and the boards are up, you'll know. If it is, you can plan to come right at or before 10 the monday after the fair and try to offer the gardeners for them and/or ask questions. We aren't allowed in til 10 to tear down, but you can go in earlier for the mum sale. Good luck! t

Have you called The Unique Plant? Other possibilities might be Dickinson Garden Center in Chapel Hill or For Garden's Sake in Durham.

Diablo is doing fine in my yard in south Raleigh (Garner). I do nothing special to protect it. I've had it for years. It doesn't look as healthy as the ones in the mountains or the photos in the catalogs but it seems happy.

FYI...I hate to always bring this up, but I had Diablo at my previous house and the deer ate it.
