I have grown the pink and white version of Mediterranean heather purchased at Lowes successfully in the Kernersville area. I believe it was purchased in the spring and was planted on a berm since the plants do not like to sit in water. Since it comes from the Mediterranean area, it should be able to survive in the Raleigh area.

Thanks. I just assumed since it bloomed in the fall that it would be sold in the fall but I guess I'll have to wait until the spring.

I know i bought mine in bloom at a big box, so keep your eyes peeled. It has done absolutely wonderfully for me- too well, almost. It tripled in size in about 7 yrs or so.
