My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
Just surfing around and found a conifer with beautiful foliage called callitris, can anyone tell me how big they grow and whether they're UK hardy? Thank you
C oblonga and C rhomboidia can take -10c worth a try where you are. Some of the Australian species from high altitude might also succeed in the milder parts of the uk.
Once saw a young one on the south coast of Devon near Salcombe. Don't know if it is still there; TROBI doesn't have any listed for anywhere in either Britain or Ireland, so probably not.
The only large Callitris I've seen in Britain was in the Temperate House at Kew.
I have seen plants labelled as Callitris endlicheri and Callitris preisii at Kew, and Callitris oblonga at Bedgebury. All looking 100% healthy and in the range of 4 - 8ft tall. All grown from wc seed, I believe.
