Hi Everyone, I'm new at succulents, and have never really had any luck at rooting until now, by accident, well. I tossed out this old cutting that I had, I did not toss it in the garbage, but on the rug, sad thing is half of it was smushed by the portable heater, and the other half where it is suppose to root was healthy and exposed. Anyway, to make a long story short in about 2 weeks after achieving what I could not in months several long roots appear, which I doubt I can use now since the top of the leaf is crackled. which leads me to wonder. do cuttings like it hot and dry in your rug?
