Cool stuff, Keith. What are you grafting this winter? Where is that 'Sharp Cheddar'? :D

I've been waiting for you to post, Keith. I'm glad the day has arrived.

Dax

what kind of fool would send you scion for that set up ...

lol

i like that green chair ... groovy man ...

what kind of testing did you do regarding that ability of the light to get thru that opaque plastic bag ????

ken

Hey that's cool. It holds the moisture and the lighting should do well enough. I could almost do that, well except I don't have the space even for bags as I absolutely refuse to have it setup in my living room. LOL Nice work.
Cher

It's not opaque, Ken. Opaque would be where you can't see anything through the bag. I'd call the bags here translucent. Seeing as though young grafts are supposed to be out of strong lighting, the set up is perfect- Cooler temps, high humidity, low light.

Keith, very nice job making due with what you have. It looks like you've grafted quite a few plants. Is there anything your are specifically excited about that you grafted?

Thank you for sharing your set up.

Thanks for the responses. Ken is just kidding me. He sent me several dozen scion. I am confident in the system because it has been used successfully by me and I don't think it is too different from Sluice's set up. The only change for me this year is the big bag instead of individual bags on each graft.

What am I excited about? The new finds from this year of course, Sharp Cheddar, Harms Way, Courtney, Elko Run...
Some new parvifloras for me Tanima-No-Yuki, Tokyo Dwarf...
korean pine broom Spring Grove
many others

The green chair has some sentimental value. My wife and I got 4 + table for $5 when I was in grad school

Keith, it sounds like you grafted a lot of very interesting plants. I hope they all take for you. Good luck.

Looks great.

Thanks for the tour!
