Posting Photos to the Cutting Garden

To post photos to the GardenWeb, I have found Photobucket.com to be the easiest and friendliest to use. After signing up for an account on Photobucket (which is free), you'll be taken to a screen where you will see,Add Pictures. You can submit 1-19 photos. Select how many you want to upload. Then, put the cursor on the box, Pictures. Left Click on Browse which will allow you to go to the file where you have stored your pictures. Left click Submit. After you do this, it may take a few minutes up to a half hour or so depending on how many pictures you are uploading.

Find something else to do while this is taking place -- such as watching the opening ceremony for the Winter Olympics!!

After the pictures have been uploaded, scroll down the screen and you should see your pictures there. Go to one of your pictures that you want to post to the GardenWeb. You will see:

Left click on the TAG box. When this is highlighted, right click, and a box will pop up with:

cut

copy

delete

Left click on copy.

Exit out of Photobucket. Bring up the GardenWeb thread where you plan to post your picture. Go down to the message box where you usually write your message. Left click so the cursor is inside the message box. Now, right click. A box will pop up with some sort of message like this:

Email this page to friend

Paste

Delete

Select All

Move the cursor down and highlight Paste. Now, left click. And, if you have some computer talk message, take a deep breath because you have done everything right. You can left click on the preview message box. Then you will be able to see your photo. You can then add whatever message you want to post with the photo before the or after the >. You can add multiple photos to the message by toggling back and forth between Photobucket and GardenWeb websites.

On the subject of editing if you need a simple program for all your photo editing try irfanview. Its free and easy to use.

Im in no way connected with the makers of this but I can say its a great program.

This is an example of a photo that is 75% of its original size.
Our market stand was featured in a magazine in 2006.
We use four canopies in addition to a permanent covered structure. The canopies are stencilled, FLOWER FARM.

Back up bouquets at market late September 2005.
The bouquets are made the day before market, and transported in bulb crates. We try to have at least 200-300 as backup for those customers who don't have time to wait for a European Hand-Tied bouquet. We sell alot of these for table decorations for customer's wedding, anniversary, shower, birthday party, and "whatever gathering" functions.

We start them young making bouquets. This young girl has been making bouquets for four years.

Dear Trish,

Thank you for the great information about photobucket and for all the wonderful pictures. I will have to try it out when I get a chance. I had always wondered about photobucket if it was really free. My you have quite a set up. All your flowers look wonderful. thanks again.

Your photos are beautiful. I love the birdhouses; and, the blue sky. I have never seen an artichoke. How beautiful.
Maybe you could start a thread with more photos. These are hidden here at the bottom of this thread.
