Ostrich fern root (?) storage...

I ordered 10 ostrich fern roots (?) online. They arrived in a box today (MUCH faster than I anticipated) & I fly out of town tomorrow morning. Does anyone know how I should store these bad boys until I get home on Sunday to plant them in the yard?
