need a pic of the whole.. to get a better flavor is the situation

any history about a recent transplant etc.. also .. actually.. any history at all would help

Well Ken, I cleaned out all the dead needles before reading your post about needing a full on photo.

I changed out the drippers as these were planted about two years ago and drippers were too close to the trunk. I spread the drippers out in a 3/4 circle with 3 drippers; 1gph, 1gph and 0.5/gph, then dusted with diatomaceous earth as I saw a lot of earwigs. I did not notice any holes in the trunk to indicate boring insects. All have 2 inches of red hemlock mulch.

I read Juniper Virginiana likes moist ground but also does well in dry areas. My system currently comes on every other day for 45 minutes. Drainage is good and soil ph is around 6.8 or 7.

The only other history is last summer was terribly hot with a spider mite problem. I sprayed with a combination of alcohol and soap then later deployed predator mites.

So, now I'll just keep an eye on them and see what happens. Do you think I've provided enough water? Any other thoughts? And thank you for your help.

Oh and I also sprayed them with a combo of seaweed and fish emulsion.
