Can you post a photograph of the kitchen. I am sure that would be most helpful. What about burnt orange or a golden. I have a milk chocolate with countertops that sound like yours - it actually picks up one of the colors in the granite. If you have a sample of the granite you can take to the paint store it might help. You might want to print out a picture of the kitchen on regular paper and take it with you to the paint store. Then you can put the paint chips right on your space to help you select. It would be like creating a mock up. I would also take them home with you and place them on your wall. Different lighting changes color and also the angle it is hung.

I would not recommend a burnt orange on your kitchen walls. Cherry wood has rosy to russet tones that will fight with your paint color. If you want a more saturated color try a more intense green like the one in the example or a deep mossy green.

Here's an idea for a shade of green that will also work with the Burnt Orange in your other areas.

Your cabinets do not look like the deep cherry color of some. After seeing the pictures, I would bring home several chips of paints that are in the burnt orange range. One of them may work since you like it. Good luck to you on your search. Hope you post pictures after.

Try a coral or salmon such as Sherwin Williams -Sockeye SW 6619 or Ravishing Coral SW6612 or Inventive Orange SW6633.
