Blooms and Nerves

They are trimming over my roses and the back row of daylilies today, so I am nervous about damage. No matter how careful they are, I don't see how they can avoid at least some damage from inadvertent droppings.

Todays blooms:

Pink Gingham as it is supposed to look:

Colorado Moon fire doubles:

New one for me Songwriter from a trade year before last:

Winners Trophy: I love this one:

Spacecoast Eye for Passion - new this year:

Bill Watson - looking pretty:

Purple Mask grouping:

Patricia Snider Memorial is a beauty: Love it!

What a group of beauties. Hard to pick a favorite since they are all so different.

I am sure your roses will be fine. Your trimmers are the careful type and roses can be tough. Meanwhile your daylily blooms for today are a lovely bunch. Patricia Snider Memorial is simply lovely, lovely and my favorite although I do also really like Colorado Moon Fire. Great color on that one and you know I like those hot colors!

I was worried for noting. Even though they cut may branches that were growing over the daylilys and roses, not a daylily scape or rose twig was broken. They di an incredible job!

Thanks for looking, christine.

Thanks Rita, it took Patricia Snider Memorial a couple of years, but she is an excellent plant here. She rebloomed repeatedly last year, and the colors are just lovely. From her first bloom on, she has been perfect this year.

Colorado Moon fire is another reliable bloomer. I go her from Earlybirds my first year of buying daylilies and moved her in the fall to a place where she is much more visiblw.

Wow, You just have so many beauties blooming today.Love PINK GINGHAM and WINNERS TROPHY, too.You was lucky that you have such good tree service men there cutting. Most of them here dont give a care about anything, except getting the money..well, I had some neighbors on the corner across the street had some big pines cut down, and they mess was all cleaned up nice.

Very nice grouping Kay. Glad to read your tree trimming is done and now you can relax.
