Hi fellow gardeners:

I have not sent messages in a long time however I have visited this sight from time to time to check in on everyone. I am happy to report that I have some perennial returning from the gift seeds sent to me last year from three wonderful ladies across canada. Thank you once again. I did not keep track of their (the plants) names and therefore I am not quite sure of what these plants are until they bloom later on. I have learned a lot following this sight and hope to continue to do so. This year I teamed up with some co-workers and placed a seed order from a seed catalog, and I ordered some plants form veseys.

I have recieved some items from Veseys already but I am not sure if it is not too early to plant these because we are having such a cold spring and the temperatures are only around plus 4 to 8 degrees in the day time and -1 to -6 at night. The soil has thawed about 12 inches in my raised beds.

What do you think I should do with the following: Snowball bush, asiatic lilies, ranunculus, monk hood,liatris, windflowers, bleeding heart, daylily; can I plant these roots , bulbs, and corms now or do I wait.
