I have a tiny 5x8 bathroom in San Diego that we're remodeling, which our only bathroom so we have to keep a tub for resale. I want to do a black/white/grey color scheme. I bought this Restoration hardware Odeon vanity in black with a Cararra marble top (pic below). I've been looking and stressing about floor and shower surround tile choices for months and just need to make a decision before I pull my hair out. So far I've narrowed it down to subway tile in the shower, either cararra marble or plain white, and then either marble hex tile on the floor (if white subway in shower as I think both in marble are too much for a small space) but I like the marble subway tile as we'll have a frameless shower door so it will be visible, but have no idea what to do on the floor if I use that in the shower. I'm also concerned I'm designing a too-traditional bathroom for a transitional house, which makes me then think I chose poorly on the vanity and I don't get anywhere. Help!
