1) go to photobucket.com and follow the instructions to set up an account - it's easy and non-invasive.

2) upload some pics from your computer to photobucket

3) with PB open in one window and Gardenweb open in another, start writing in your post, and whenever you want to add a pic, just take the contents of the TAG box from PB, copy, and paste it in your GW post. It's so easy! When you hit preview message you should see your pics come up.

Hint - TAG is the second box of the group of 3 under each pic. Just ignore the other two.

Also, Kate, there is a test forum in the "Instructions" at the bottom of the page. It is really good for practicing before you post to the actual forum. Good luck. It's not too hard. I can do it. LOL!

Northspruce, thank you for such clear and simple instructions. I've read other people's explanations of how to post, but yours was the one that made me sit up and say to myself, "Hey, even I can do that!" I finally opened a photobucket account and I was able to post my very first photos, yesterday.
