For anyone in the area this Sunday the third in a series of Garden tours will be happening. The previous 2 were on Saturdays. Passports cost $5.00 and individuals are given a map with 4 to 5 homes to visit on this self drive tour. The last 2 tours were really good - I got my need to have roses from the first tour and figured out that I also need to have a Purpla Plena Elegance clematis in the second tour... plus a host of other ideas. The tours are set up by the hortacultural society and run from 1-4. I enjoyed the tours and they provide a wealth of ideas especially for those of us who have trouble visualizing what "plantings" will look like
