I semi-impulsively (meaning I was planning on buying the same plants in the Spring, but could not resist the late-season savings) bought two Blue Arrow Junipers (about 5 feet tall) and two Capitata pyramidal yews.

Both because the planting sites for these won't be ready until Spring, and because it is pretty late in the season here in Toronto, I do not want to plant these until Spring.

Options for overwintering include an unheated garage (is the darkness an issue?), or alongside the house with my potted hostas and piles of leaves and snow around the base.
