Another mystery plant

This one is a wild one that a little girl found at a beach this morning at the end of their Terry Fox run. She brought it to me because i'm such an expert - obviously not, eh? LOL Anyone have any ideas?

The berries are very juicy and the smell is not all that pleasant. Hoping all the real experts will know!
