Not too difficult to find; take the road southeast from Rocksprings, for example.

Too late for seed this year though, it sheds seed in mid to late September.

Natives of Texas nursery outside of Kerrville carries them.

The Lovett Pinetum has several of them growing there.

I have 2 that are about 9 yrs old. One of them had several cones this past year stay on the tree. Guess next year will see if the cones actually mature and contain seeds.
