Lobelia is a bog plant ? It's doomed !

I worry that the Lobelia when mature will grow taller and wider, hiding that lovely fountain. It would be fun if the Salvia draped itself over the edges, what is it's growing habit?

Supposedly - the salvia will mound and get taller - the Felix mint will cascade. I may need to make a pond to move that lobelia by... Sigh ... :)

A good trick would be to raise that little area. I have lost two thymes and some lavender (and possibly one rosemary but it was sickly for some reason anyway) to the rain, but that's it. Considering all I've got planted, it's amazing. Almost everything has LOVED this rain. Raising the herb beds though is a great idea, just the right drainage, especially for thymes.
Mints tend to fade here this time of year, but I keep mine in pots on the porch anyway because once they escape, they are gone for good around here - in the lawn, all the garden beds, everywhere. Weedy!
