I found strange bugs "feeding" on a branch of a potted fig that I have. I removed them with a napkin, but have no idea what they are. I tried taking a photo of them...they seem orange with narrow tails that are dark in color.

Any idea what in the world this is, where it comes from, and what exactly it's feeding on? Thanks GW
