Wish someone had answered since I will be putting in two Jolly Bee's this year. It is listed as hardy to z4 so I am taking them at their word (from plantspotters.com - the plant's developers). If you plant this year, too, I guess we can compare next spring.

I planted two last summer, and they bloomed their little heads off. They were my favorite plant of last year. It looks like one is starting to show a bit, but not the other. I'm trying to be patient, and I'll update in a few days.

My second 'Jolly Bee' is up. Woo-hoo! I was surprised, as it has been colder than you-know-where recently. I'm in the north metro, and we're not that far from the zone 3 line, so I'm going to express confidence at the hardiness of this geranium in z4. I did mulch without 6" of leaves over winter.

I can't say enough about the awesome and prodigious bloom of this plant. I bought it in bloom in June (from Linder's) and it bloomed hard until frost, magnificently. It sprawled about 2.5' through other flowers and looked fabulous. The leaves were healthy and attractive too. Everyone who visited my garden commented on it.
