Daffodil mystery

I'm just full of questions tonight lol. I have a bed of miniature daffodils. There are two varieties grouped together with similar small doublish blooms. One is solid yellow and the other is white w/yellow cup (pictured below)

This is their third year blooming and these two are the only varieties I planted there. Now this year all of the sudden this different looking daffodil popped up and bloomed. It's a single bloom instead of double and it has a yellow cup trimmed in bright orange. Is this from some kind of cross-pollination?
