I have a feeling this sunflower is a cross with one of my Hemker sunflowers. I had some smaller ornamental sunflowers in this position the past few years. They keep seeding themselves, but this year it the plant was taller, and extremely multi-branched; so I'm guessing it crossed with one of my hemker plants. I didn't bother to take out the ladder to measure it, but I would say it's about 10 feet tall.
