Are there any subdivisions being built near you? Ten years ago, some builder was clearing forest for a bunch of houses (sad.)

We went one day while they were working and asked permission to scavenge stones after hours. They were happy to have us take them.

Maybe you can do something like that.

Try Craigslist. My kind friend found me many nice things on Craigslist.

There is also a website called Freecycle. I don't know if it's a dot com or dot org. But it is all free stuff that people want to get rid of!
