hello there-

1. you strep is sitting too deep in a pot and too deep in a soil. They should be planted like a king of the hill.

2. Your soil needs even more perlite, probably 20% more - and if you can find medium to coarse perlite - - even better.
   And the bottom of Oyama inner pot is also better to fill with medium coarse perlite - not small-to-dust grade.

I use 1/8 of a teaspoon per gallon of Dynagro every time - because my evaporation rate is high - you can do 1/4 of a teaspoon per gallon. Orchid fertilizer - just do not use 30:1:1 type, your numbers on NPK should be about even.
. If you think that it takes too long for the plant to absorb the water - just add less water in Oyama pot every time. And do not water again until the pot is light and dry.

Thank you Irina. You always have such good insight. I did put a good base of straight perlite in the bottom, but I will repot them all this weekend with more perlite in the mix. I tried to keep them potted high, but some of them kept tipping over so I pushed them down a little bit. I guess it's ok to just let them lean over in order to be higher up??

Jen - you can trim leaves some - so they wouldn't flop - and you can use bamboo skewers to prop them up until they will go strong and keep themselves upright.

You probably need to move them to the next size Oyamas eventually.
